I am visitor from Houston to Charlotte for this week. I find way more sugar in my bakery and other edible items in my food wherever i go in Houston. This place βVillage Juiceβ among other places in the area keep sugar content reasonable. I tried 6 items and each of them wer as fresh as i can just about imagine. I am glad i tried their edibles and drinkables.

Really delicious Acai bowl. Full of fresh toppings and made to order. On the pricier side but we really enjoyed it. Friendly service and the vegan cheesecake is absolutely divine. Snagged the last one and it was so so so good! Friendly service as well. This place is slept on for their smoothies (we tried a sample and it was delicious)

I loved the Sunset Bowl so much. I was out with friends and we decided to go to Optimist Hall. My friends decided to grab a meal and I didnβt want anything heavy so I chose a smoothie bowl. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing. It was a great choice. I loved the atmosphere outdoors and it was such a relaxing afternoon.

I wanted to like this place so bad. The food is fresh, but so bland and left much to be desired. I ordered the Southwest bowl and added extra mango salsa. The ingredients listed a poblano salsa yet there was no trace of it in the bowl. Very friendly staff yet the menu needs a bit more flavor.

This was my first time here and I have to say that I am highly disappointed at the service. There were two people talking at the front counter and stocking up but not one acknowledged I was there or even said hello. I asked a couple of questions about some of the items on the menu and I got straight yes or no answers. Nothing helpful in the least. I think the girl was rude and on top of that, when I ordered the Beyond Burger, she asked for my number to text me when it was ready. I never received a text and as I'm sitting across from the counter working, I happened to look up wondering why it was taking so long and noticed my sandwich had been sitting on the counter over to the left. Not a text or a call out. She knew I was sitting here but never informed me my food was ready. I have no idea how long it was sitting there but now it's cold so I have to eat a cold lunch. I'm extremely disappointed in this place. You would think given the circumstances with other restaurants closing, the service would be much better. Especially not being busy at all. I won't be coming back here. UPDATE on the food. The "Beyond Burger" was the worst I've ever had. It was hard, stale and cold. Not sure
